This are the 10 sections of a California Apostille according to the Hague Convention Oct 5, 1961. It includes a red seal half on the apostille certificate and the other half in the document signed by the state official, county clerk, notary, etc. These documents are birth certificate, marriage, death, divorce, diplomas, power of attorney etc.

La apostilla de La Haya (o simplemente apostilla, también en francés: apostille, "nota" o "anotación") es un método simplificado de legalización de documentos a efectos de verificar su autenticidad en el ámbito internacional. Físicamente consiste en una hoja que se agrega (adherida al reverso o en una página adicional) a los documentos que la autoridad competente estampa sobre una copia del documento público. Fue introducido como método alternativo a la legalización por un Convenio de La Haya (también conocida como Convención de la Haya, o Conferencia de La Haya de Derecho Internacional Privado) de fecha 5 de octubre de 1961.

The Apostille of The Hague (or simply apostille, also in French: apostille, "note" or "annotation") is a simplified method of legalizing documents in order to verify their authenticity in the international arena. Physically it consists of a sheet that is added (attached to the back or on an additional page) to the documents that the competent authority stamps on a copy of the public document. It was introduced as an alternative method to legalization by a Hague Convention (also known as the Hague Convention, or The Hague Conference on Private International Law) dated October 5, 1961.
